Carhartt


Carhartt was born in Detroit in 1889 and started life as a workwear label, the last 119 years have seen it grow to dominate American workwear.

Carhartt workwear was subsequently adopted by American youth and this provided the platform for Carhartt Streetwear. Since 1994 Carhartt has been distributed in Europe through Work In Progress Textilhandels GmbH. who have helped to adapt Carhartt for the European market and in 1997 the first range was produced including pieces made especially for the European market.

Today, Carhartt is known for its clothing collection and its dedicated support of upcoming artists, musicians, skateboarders and BMX riders. They sponsor teams and events recognising many different subcultures but still sticking to the core idea of providing innovative design and exceptional standards of quality, durability and comfort at the right price.
