There is no great vision or message, no target markets, just garments for everyone, clothing which looks stylish that you’ll want to wear. In an era where each design house has a ‘mission’ statement, moto or gimmick it’s very refreshing that Universal Works offers none.From a background of great British working and outdoor clothes Universal Works use honest, natural fabrics and yarns, often using up dead stock fabrics that would otherwise be wasted. They work with highly skilled people in small factories. They make great quality garments, which is never the cheapest way to make stuff but we think it's the best way
