Penelope Chilvers combines modernity with a traditional edge when it comes to her footwear range using natural materials of the highest quality, her shoe boxes are handmade and all the packaging is polythene free and bio-degradable. Aspecto has purchased the long tassel boot ‘a la Kate Middleton’ alongside the Utility boot and the Impossible Boot. The Impossible boot has received plenty of press as it's shape is so unusual in that there is a sort of elfin turn up at the toe which is supposed to optimise warm air circulation around the foot; it is modelled on a 1930s sealskin snow boot. With the trend heavily geared towards of all things Scandinavian this is rumoured to be the new ‘must have’ boot for Autumn/Winter. Deliveries are anticipated from August at Aspecto Clothing.
